Compassion                              Idea of Time

Possible and Impossible: Neither the impossible nor possible is possible to know. The belief that an event has never happened does not mean it can never happen, unlikely perhaps, but not impossible. Similarly because something has happened since time immemorial does not mean it will happen again, likely perhaps, but not impossible. Because the future has not happened we cannot know the possible from the impossible. However some things are more likely to happen than others. One, for example, is that I exist, another that a truck (as I call it) just passed by outside my window between the times I wrote the words “that I” and “exist”. I assume the truck was not just an image in my mind, though it is that too, of course. I note the contradiction in the 1st sentence of this ¶, but stand by the words. As I could perhaps stand by the word of my accusers, depending on the words and the heart.

"Heart": I have often used the “heart” as a metaphor for ... well ...... hmmmmm, ..... perhaps for ....

”whatever our words try to express about our thoughts and feelings concerning whatever we are thinking or feeling about, including our thoughts and feelings about translating these thoughts and feelings into the subject at hand. Even further, seizing the opportunity to break into conversation to actually 'speak' the words ..... "

Maybe that heart.
