This and That: This is true if it follows that, but that is not true unless it follows another “that.” Cause and effect are wherein the truth lies. First cause? You gotta start somewhere, nes pas? Ananke! Chronos! Many like me are lazy so we cut to the chase and say, therefore, “This is true because that is true because this is true.” And close the circle without all the falderal that just confuses the matter in particular subjects. I think there are two types of prayers, “Please, God” or “Thanks, God”. Right now I prefer the latter. I looked out my window tonight as saw my reflection off the glass. Then I noticed a small warm light reflecting from somewhere else. As I focused on the small light, an image of a “third eye” appeared on my reflections in the window; the “glow of my third eye”. I laughed at the juxtaposition of images and metaphor of the third eye. I then played with the images, moving back and forth from the window to control placement and sizing of the “third eye”. I look closer at the glow and realized it was a reflection of the light from my own window. So the metaphor is expanded in this case to “the glow in the third eye is but a reflection of the glow behind the eye” Over the past several days I compiled an Excel spreadsheet listing the World Miltitary Expenditures (2010).
