(J): War and Morality: The authority for the “righteous” of secular humanism? Just being “human”, I guess. To paraphrase what I sense as a common belief: (e.g. in ISIS and America, enemies of each other, added August 26, 2016)
"The values are so “obvious” that all humans recognize them and want them. Those who don’t, of course are either ignorant, or worse, not even human. But with proper education and training some might someday be human again, as the day they were born before their hearts and minds got corrupted by barbarian cultures. All humans have potential, so we have a “duty” to change them, to see the light. If they claim they are already happy, we must educate them to see that they are really miserable because they don’t have what we have, materially and therefore morally. Educating them is just “the right thing to do”.
And were off to the wars.
