Calculus: The edifice of calculus is based on avoiding the infinite, though it is filled with infinities on every dx, so we can’t predict continuous nature exactly, but we can come pretty damn close, though the asymptote and axis chase each other to infinity in a dance through eternity.

Space: Since space is expanding, our bodies, which are mostly space (on the order of 1012 to 1013 times more space than “stuff”) assuming nucleons are “stuff” expanding at the same rate; are our measuring devices are expanding as well so we can never sense expansion and must infer it.
