I've Never Had A Day

I have never had a day without access to sustaining food. I have never had a day without access to protective shelter. I have never had a day without access to other people with whom to share love. Though I strive for none. It is manna from heaven, ambrosia of the gods. I have chosen at whim to unavail myself of such access, but it's always there. So to all you strivers, Do you really think the world is so seriously messed up? That’s just the way it is. I, on the other hand, Prefer life to its improvement. |
