Letter to Jessie Jackson                Letter to Louis Farrakham                Letter to Pope Francis

For several days I have been thinking of sending letters I have written to the Pope, Louis Farrakhan, and perhaps Jesse Jackson, appealing for a "new morality" of "taking with pride" but "living on much less, but free" and "accepting death and suffering" as part of living, not something to futilely attempt to avoid by manipulating nature, material nature, thought to be the cause of suffering. A main letter would be sent to the IMF, asking "why" economic growth. Their web site adds "reducing poverty" to the their Articles of Agreement, which only encourage economic growth according to western contract law and property rights. If poverty is defined as not enough food or shelter, maybe I will agree, but then have we not, as a world, substantially eliminated the need for much labor, if people's "consumption is, say, only 10,000 calories per day, or 5 times our body's living needs (i.e. about 10 calories per kilogram per day, from which, or by use of which we can construct shelter).

The letters above are proposed (all 3 unsent). Links are transferred here, leaving closed loops of journal dates for these unsent letters.
