Acceptance                        Human Nature                        Love

(for the next few entries I thought it was still January, so the 1’s are overwritten by 2’s)

Love: ISTMRN many people pursue love rather than peace. Love for others is met with love for one’s self. How does one express love for others, by doing what they want. So giving up one’s self to others desire’s gets us the love we so need from others. I prefer peace.

It seems many people want to rearrange the stage of life to their suiting. I prefer watching the play as the fates wrote it, including other people’s rearrangements of the stage. However, I have the arrogance to believe such view from the balcony is best. But I do note that many prefer telling other people how best to rearrange the set for each scene, rather than do it themselves; it’s all part of the play. “Out, out brief candle!” Remember when you wander about the stage, you are under the director’s whims that may be founded on shifting sands. Upon shifting sands, the sin of compulsion of others to shift their foundation the same way has built the circus of hell that many people think is the world.

It surrounds us, envelopes us like a loving aunt, and tells us it is warm, comfortable, and good; it saves us from harm, it punishes sinners until they either (1) see the light or (2) are banished to prison or death. So they tell me heaven will come to earth when all sinners (those not “tolerant” of other genders, races, or ethnicity) are banish from earth. Soon, but there are some evil, evil sons of the devil out there in the world, and they will be hard to route out, so a little more patience please until we can rid you of this hellish world.

And samsara rolls on.

There is a different way to what seems to me the same thing, peace of mind (whatever that is). The other way is to think the play and the playwright geniuses. The play is marvelous, why change it? And part of the marvel is the busy, `busy, busy change. Do we not like in our fictions “action adventures?” (as the movie industry calls them). And sin and righteousness? I think there is plenty of entertainment on the stage of life, so I sit in the balcony and watch; that too is part of the play and in the script.

I recommend sitting back and enjoying the show. I suggest you might find it less stressful than trying to rearrange the set between scenes. The play is perfect already, including your trying to make it better.

Government   Penny dear Penny, the proud and admitted “socialist” said she looked at Social Security throughout her life as “giving” to those who receive “benefits”. I applaud you Penny, but have just one question. Do you expect others to do the same for you? If so, it may not be so much of a “gift” after all; perhaps part of a quid pro quo. Are you willing for an even trade? (oops two questions)

Language   I try in my writing to use commas and quotes very carefully. I am sure that at times I don’t “match ends” or forget a beginning or end, just confusing the matter more than clarifying. Not often, I think (I almost wrote “don’t think” whatever that might be except oblivion)
