Art as Purpose                 Gender Rights                 Human Nature                 Greek Gods                 Idea of Time

Idea for a stage play: An old man or woman sit on a bench as the stage move a stream of people to interact with the old man.
Soldier: Is it OK to kill? Old Man: depends on moral standards, 10 commandments "No", survival, "Yes".
Child: What is God?       Old Man: I don’t know what you mean by God. Tell me what you mean by “God” then I can tell what God is.
Worker: worked two jobs all for “his family” he never sees because his is working, discuss "obligation"
Child: telling a man to pick a candy wrapper he just threw down, discuss “obligation”
Artist: What else is there but stuff and it place in space and time?, discuss "space, time, and reality"
etc.

Actors intermingle with the audience as part of the play, and react live to audience questions. If say 40 vignettes such as the examples to fill time between audience interactions. Audience interations are instigated by a cast member question such as above. The old man calls on several raised hands before perhaps giving, depending on audience answers, his own rehearsed take on the question.

Gender Roles: Women it seem are encouraged to enhance their “beauty” while men are encouraged to suppress it: jewelry, make up, long hair length, bright clothes color, much more skin showing for women; watches only, no make up, short hair, drab suit color, leased (ties) and collared, no skin except face and hands for men . I might observe that such women “enhancements” may be a mask to hide perceived ugliness behind the mask, physical or mental due to sin. Woman must attract a man by looks (though they get approval of their looks from other women),whereas a man attracts a woman by action. The stronger the better. So men MUST fight other men for protection of women and children. Women are happy to oblige for sex “Only if you cut your hair, and don’t swear around the children” as just as good as an excuse as any other, and by the way, “KEEP AWAY FROM MY CUNT” unless invited!

Prometheus Bound:  Zeus punished Prometheus for giving the gift of knowledge to people,
God punished humans for taking it.
Zeus knew his time was over.
God knew his had just begun.

Because "the gift" was the ability to see the future (Prometheus = “fore” thought, as opposed to his brother, Epimetheus always looking back) which makes us like unto gods. Zeus knew once humans had the gift, people would overwhelm Olympus and the gods would no longer have power. The gods faded away for lack of need; divination is now ours. But God knew that confusion among people accompanied the gift; confusion about what to divine – for good and for evil. And God knew his time was at hand for moral guidance is God's merchandise, at least one-third of it, mortality and meaning being the other two-thirds of the three MMM's of God.

Living: All my life I have done what I have done, and I will continue to do it.
