Hank and Me: I just asked myself why I was doing the driveway hedge clearing “project”. An answer that popped out loudly was “because I enjoy it” and into my mind popped, “I’m clearing hawthorns again, me and Hank” Hank was a real good friend. A very good person, with a temper, like me. “Hank and me” – revisiting good times in my youth, my home, unfocused, college drop-out, drug user (marijuana and LSD), but “Hank and me” did the hawthorn project for a about a year. I seem now to consider it one of my proudest achievements. Just Hank and me (tears again, damn or thanks?) |
