What We All Know Now: We now know there is no way logic, reason, rationality, philosophy, religion, or any other loosely organized body of human thought can get to or even lead toward “truth”, “good”, “justice”, “freedom” or any other summum bonum. We tried. It’s just not to be, and we all know it now. All values are definitions, not conclusions; disputable, situational, and thus quite arbitrary. We know this beyond doubt now. Yet people seem to hate me with a hate deeper than any when I mention it. Sigh ..... |
