Science (life's fire)
Life Force: Do you want to know the life force? Hold your breath until you can’t hold it any longer, then hold it five seconds more. You will then feel the “life force” compelling you to breathe. (repeated 20110120 and 20110305) Every cell, every organelle, demanding its fire-feeding oxygen. It is this fire that is life, the self-sustaining exothermic chemical reaction (endothremic as well in plants): light C + O ←→ CO2 + heat Plants make their own food, we animals have to steal all of it from plants and/or other animals to power our life force, the fire. This fire is life. Life is this fire. |
