Film Ideas (while taking Optical Mineralogy)
- Diffusion of florescent paint in water, alcohol, or turpentine (whichever will act as a solvent), filmed under UV light
- Still or motion: fish line, black with lead weight painted on the end in florescent paint and spun around a finger to form a spiral against a black background in UV light)
- Under crossed nichols with plate inserted, rotation of the stage with camera fixed to the stage so that the image does not appear to move, only to change color; same for quartz wedge.
