Acceptance               Death               Idea of God               Vanity of Virtue (Shakespeare)

"Be not ye therefore like unto them (showy prayers) for your father knoweth what things ye have need of, before you ask him."
          Matthew 6:8

"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father."
          Matthew 10:29

A note on the last quote, "What happens to sparrows that fall on the ground, young ones unable to fly?" Of course, snakes, weasels, beetles, or eat them. Is it tragic? Something to mourn? To pine about? To wish were not? To be sad about? I don't know if God is sad or glad that life goes on, I suspect neither.
