Intelligence
Intelligence is a human adaptive tool
That helps him survive in nature;

It may even be a maladative,
In light of his penchant
For self-destruction and energy dissipation.

Or it may be that man will control the universe,
Even reverse or halt entropy.

And perhaps even power to learn its secrets
And become gods.

Until that time passes our way,
There will alway be God;
Deep, dark, mysterious, unknowable.

To know the unknowable is to know God.
