I was found guilty today of another sex crime. I accidentally entered a conservation area parking lot as a registered sex-offender, immediately turned around and left. A conservation area policeman, not a regular cop, saw me turning around. He got my license plate number, looked up my address, and came to my apartment to arrest me. He and his partner fenced with me a bit, unitil I asked is this about my sex offender status. They then said they had to arrest me for being in a park. I objected, but they persisted. I finally got out of them that it was a misdemeaner charge they were arresting me for and I could post a bond of 500$. I went with them, paid my bond, and walked home about 2 miles in the rain. |
