Aphorism 41                                Language                                Medical Morality

Logic and its Handmaiden Math: Logic underlies science and law. They are the best devise for bridging that unbridgeable existential void between you and me, your thoughts and feelings and mine, your words and mine.

Medicine Man: I had a tête-à-tête with a medicine man today. I think the issue was really “Who is in charge of my health?” which I assume of course is me; however, I think by habit built by most “patients” preferring, that he assumes responsibility for the patient's health. So perhaps I saw the “interview” differently than him, assuming I was the interviewer, the payer, rather than his assumption that he was the interviewer and I was the patient. Perhaps he is right. I am not really the payer, Medicare and Medicaid are, and I am but a pawn in the socialistic system designed to better serve, therefore manage my health.
