Commerce               Idea of Time               Language (Math)

Leap Day: A “free” day, a gift from the measure of time that allows us to make inaccurate calendars. Leap day, a reminder of inability to square the circle. A correction @ 0.001. I wonder, how much does the cesium clock drift?

Sculptures by God and Grit: Anyway a fine day for thoughts on a type of company arrangement. To work it probably needs to draw on people with other means of sustenance. No salaries. One “share” of ownership awarded for each hour of work, non-transferrable (by neither the shareholder nor the company), all accumulated “shares” expire at death, no estate value, payable only to original holders, i.e. “workers”.

Elected officers hire and fire to procure and sell are paid one share for each hour of work. Likewise for new hires. "Investors", i.e. all workers are awarded one share for one hour’s work. So time worked is the investment, the “wage” per hour. All revenue minus equipment and material costs are distributed equally among the shares, as are assessments for losses (as this is for already self-sufficient people). All purchases by cash or account debit, no loans. What will we do while I am an officer? Well, maybe tumble grantite boulders? perhaps named “Sculptures by God and Grit”.
