To Plato: I think you will agree the shadows in your cave are quite interesting in themselves, plus perhaps it is all we can see. So why worry about perfections because it’s beyond what we can see, at least most of us. So we have to “guess” what perfection is, and boy do we ever guess!

While attention to the shadows has revealed nearly certain patterns in the flickerings. We imagine the patterns to signal good and evil in the world of light outside the cave which we cannot see.

The unfolding (evolution) defined duality of good and evil rather than an absolute. Philosophy killed God as “the way of things” will kill philosophy.
