Compassion                         Soul                         Epistemology

Compassion? What’s in it for me? Except feeling good about myself for being compassionate? And vicariously participating in another’s feelings?, at least pretending to?

Universes: I either know nothing of the way of things, at least so little as to be next to nothing, compared to what could be known even by one or another human mind. Or I know everything that can be known that constitutes my “universe", outside of which I again know nothing.

Scales: I can guess. Death, language, math, logic, intuition, etc. help such guesses. Guessing merely alters my universe, especially if my guesses seem to match my expectations based on reason or intutition. This process adds to solidification of a higher rung on the “knowing” scale based on my perceptions of observations from lower rungs.
