Appearance and Reality                    Senses

Mind-Body and Free Will: I often put the mind-body issue into the “physical-mental” terminology.

“Physical” is anything that stimulates the senses which in turn transmit that stimulus to neurons in the mental realm (mostly the brain, but also spinal cord to the fingertips) where more neurons are activated to create mental perceptions of the physical thing.

“Mental” is the processing (perception, analysis, comparison, etc.) of physically originating stimuli, as well as processing of "non-physically-caused" neurological activity (i.e. the “mental” realm, “thinking” by creating its own originating stimuli).

Maybe it is all deterministic quantum response to the four force fields, but until a real time map of a cloud’s boundary, not arbitrarily defined, can be made, I will live under the powerful illusion of free will.
