This category overlaps with Epistemology and Happiness. Teleology (another name of meaning or purpose) is this category; one of three MMM's interlinked concepts that deal with the idea of God: Mortality, Morality, and Meaning. The others are Death (a similar concept of Mortality) and Morality. Meaning is given by the other two MM's. Central to the concept of meaning is "immortality is awarded to those that live 'right' and perhaps punishment for those that live 'bad'. I believe there is no meaning to life, even human life. I believe there is no soul that survives death, so no judgement of good or bad as a test of worthiness to live forever or the condition of the next life. Random chance creates "what is", not a moral god or brahma. |
